Recharge and reconnect with a respite stay at Mosman Park Care Centre, Perth’s only dedicated respite care centre.
On this page
Respite care gives carers the opportunity to recharge and reconnect with themselves so they can return to caregiving with renewed strength and clarity.
It also provides a break for the person being cared for, offering a fresh setting and an opportunity to socialise with others.
Mosman Park Care Centre is the only aged care home in Perth dedicated to providing respite care for older people and their carers.
Services
Mosman Park Care Centre offers round-the-clock care (including 24/7 registered nurses), nutritious meals, and a diverse range of activities. Our well-maintained communal and outdoor areas provide ample opportunities for socialising and relaxing, including tranquil walks in the adjoining park.
Upon admission, our team conducts a thorough assessment of each client’s physical, emotional, spiritual, and social needs, working closely with them and their families to establish a personalised care plan for their stay. General Practitioners oversee the general medical care of clients, supported by our dedicated nursing, allied health and care staff.
While the centre is not dementia-secure, we are equipped to accommodate certain individuals living with dementia, ensuring they receive the appropriate care and attention they deserve.
Mosman Park Care Centre has capacity for up to 47 clients and is available for booking up to six months in advance, ensuring convenience and peace of mind for carers.
Respite stays range from a minimum of two weeks to a maximum of nine weeks, providing flexibility to accommodate various needs.
