Club Lefroy is a place where people of any age living with dementia can relax and socialise.
In addition to our regular programs, a men’s group is held weekly, and we run outings specifically for younger people living with early onset dementia. We encourage everyone to join in with what’s happening on the day, but if they prefer to simply take it easy, they are welcome to do so. We understand that people living with dementia can easily become over-stimulated, so we provide more soothing activities if we think this will help them to relax.
Club Lefroy clients and families have easy access to our other dementia-specific services, including overnight respite care and the McCusker Nurse South Service. You can read more about these services in the Dementia Care section of this website.
Club Lefroy is open from Monday to Friday, with occasional evening and weekend activities depending on our clients’ needs. We can arrange transport to and from the club, and we provide lunch and morning and/or afternoon tea.
Club attendance hours are 9.30am to 2.30pm, however, our clubs are staffed beyond attendance hours for your convenience.
