Club Alexander Heights is a place where older people can come to socialise and take part in activities.
We have a program of Opportunity which includes gentle exercises in the morning, occasional outings into the community and venues of interest, art and craft activities, guest speakers/entertainers that visit the club, table games, bingo and various floor games plus a range of other activities. Pet Therapy is also on our program.
We encourage everyone to join in with what’s happening on the day, but if they prefer to simply take it easy, they are welcome to do so. We understand that people living in their own homes can easily become socially isolated, so we provide social interaction in the centre and in the community.
Club Alexander Heights clients and families have easy access to our dementia-specific services, including overnight respite care and the McCusker Nurse North Service. You can read more about these services in the Dementia Care section of this website.
Club Alexander Heights is open Monday to Friday. We can arrange transport to and from the club, and we provide lunch (at a cost) and morning tea.
Club attendance hours are 9.30am to 2.30pm.
