At Amana Living we understand it’s vital older people stay socially involved and connected.
We can help to keep you connected to your current social circle or we can help you develop a new one.
There are many options available for you such as group outings, one on one support, the Kites Social Outing Program, Day Clubs and Shopper buses.
The Amana Living Kites seniors social outings have run for 15 years and demand is growing.
The program is funded by Commonwealth Home Support Program (CHSP) to enable those living in the community to maintain health, wellbeing and social contact, and to give carers a period of respite.
Outings run Monday to Saturday in the north and south regions of the Perth metropolitan area and destinations include Hillarys, Fremantle, Toodyay, the Swan Valley, Araluen, Kings Park and much more.
You don't need to rely on family to get to and from the shops. We have you covered.
Our Shopper Bus service provides door to door transport to a local shopping centre, Monday to Friday.
You can do your grocery shopping, have a browse at the latest goods or enjoy coffee with a new friend.
CHSP funding available.
Amana Living has six Day Clubs for older people to meet new friends.
Our clubs offer a safe and secure environment where people 65 years and over can relax, meet new friends, and participate in a variety of activities.
All clubs cater for people of any age living with dementia with specially designed activity programs that meet varying abilities.
