The Lake House
The Lake House is a new $32 million centre for aged care accommodation and services in Perth’s northern suburbs. Consisting of a 96-bed multi-storey building and day club, it provides a calm environment for older people to receive professional and compassionate care. The Lake House also offers respite to carers of people living with dementia in the community.
Amana Living has taken the best of modern residential design to create a home that fits seamlessly with the local surrounds and offers older people peace, security and sanctuary. A warm welcome is provided in the lower ground floor, with entry to the reception and day club off a covered porte-cochere with landscaped gardens.
The ground floor provides care and accommodation for people living with dementia who require a secure environment, while the first floor is dedicated to residents who need care in a supportive environment.

Throughout the building, the focus has been on designing a home that maximises the residents’ health and overall wellbeing. Natural light, gardens and a diverse choice of spaces for residents and their families to enjoy have all been central to the building design.
Dementia design experts have selected colours, objects and artworks that will help residents navigate their way around the building, as well as encourage and support their independence. The architecture and interior design have a strong connection to nature and the outdoors. There are large windows and access to outdoor spaces, through to the extensive use of internal and external courtyards.

The interior of the Lake House provides a variety of spaces for residents to relax, spend time with friends, or catch up with family.
Communal dining can be enjoyed in casual dining areas decorated to match the colour palette of the wing, for the ease of people living with dementia. There are also private dining rooms for special family celebrations.
Winter gardens are located on each floor, creating a green space within the building and soothing interiors. The winter gardens provide a connection with nature through access to the two storey internal courtyards with breezeways designed to maximise fresh air circulation.

The bedrooms at The Lake House are designed with resident comfort and wellbeing in mind. Each room is generously sized with a private ensuite, and a large window ensuring there is plenty of natural light. Each room is easily accessible from the central living areas.
We understand the importance of having a space that feels like home, which is why we offer ample storage and desk space. We encourage residents to make their bedroom their own so there's also the ability to personalise the room with photos of loved ones and favourite knick-knacks.
The bedrooms are finished to a high standard with top quality fixtures and fittings throughout, plus views of either the landscaped courtyards, private gardens, or the local community.

The Beach House
Our existing care centre at Kinross will furthermore be known as The Beach House.
Residents currently living in the care centre will relocate to our state-of-the-art building, The Lake House.
Once residents have relocated, The Beach House will temporarily close for refurbishment, in anticipation of complimentary services to be offered to our community.
Kinross Day Club
Day Clubs offer a safe and secure environment, where people over 55 years can relax, meet new friends and participate in a variety of activities.
Our Day Clubs are an effective way of maintaining social connections and providing links to the local community. They are suitable for people living with dementia, as we provide specially designed activity programs that meet varying abilities.

Kinross is a peaceful coastal community located in the northern suburbs of Perth offering an abundance of natural beauty including parks, beaches, and lakes.
The suburb boasts several shopping centres including a medical centre, pharmacy, deli, and a well-known bakery right next door to Kinross Care Community. The Kinross Central Shopping Centre is close by with easy access to groceries, amazing coffee, and a range of retail stores.
Kinross has excellent transport links with Marmion Avenue, Mitchell Freeway and Currambine Train Station a short drive away.
