CEO hands over

In August, Ray Glickman steps down as Amana Living CEO, following what Chairman Steve Scudamore has described as “an outstanding 12 years”.

Ray drove the change in branding from Anglican Homes to Amana Living, and established our positioning as an organisation that helps older people to truly live the second half of life. This inspiration is underpinned by our award-winning Enrichment Program.

A night in 'New York' for staff

Amana Living acknowledged staff in November, with all the glamour of a night in ‘New York’ – the theme for their Awards Night and Staff Ball at the Rendezvous Hotel, Scarborough.

Amana Living is one of WA’s largest providers of housing, care and services to older people, employing more than 1,400 staff. Almost a quarter of those staff attended the Amana Living Awards Night and Staff Ball.

“Amana Living employees are highly valued by our leadership, customers and families, and this special night is one of the ways we acknowledge that,” said CEO Ray Glickman.

Staff awarded for dedication

Amana Living employs more than 1,200 staff. On 1 November, 300 of them arrived at the annual Staff Awards Night, where several received awards for their dedication. 

“Amana Living exists to help older people really live the second half of life,” said CEO Ray Glickman. “This means making a difference in their lives each day and providing the very best quality care we can. We each play a vital role in achieving this, so it’s important we have the right approach.”
