Government advice is rapidly changing, and we will endeavour to keep volunteers up to date with the latest information. For a full list of changes to the restrictions, please visit the WA Government website.

Volunteers should continue to:

• Wear a mask

In line with government requirements, visitors to aged care centres must wear a mask at all times. 

• Practice social distancing

No matter where you are, social distancing still needs to be practiced. Remember to stay at least 1.5 metres apart, when wearing a mask. We understand that there are times you need to be closer to residents, please use your judgement. 

• Refresh your hand hygiene techniques

Check in on your hand washing regime and make sure you are following these guidelines.

• Ensure your COVID vaccination status is up to date

Please contact our volunteer coordinators if you have any questions regarding your vaccination status. 

• Check in

Please continue to follow check-in procedure, as directed by the care centre. 

If you feel unwell, or have visited any of the hotspots, please let your volunteer coordinator know, and go directly to your nearest COVID-19 testing clinic. Once you have your result, please let us know.

Even if you have recently received a negative COVID-19 result, but feel unwell, please refrain from entering an Amana Living facility.
