Residential & Transition Care
The health and safety of residents and staff is Amana Living’s number one priority, and we take the threat of COVID-19 extremely seriously.
The WA Government has changed the directives for visitors to residential aged care centres.
Visitors to Residential Aged Care Facilities Directions No. 7 are now in effect and requires any person who is a worker in a quarantine centre or hotel, and has been at work in the previous 14 days must:
- wear a face mask while on the grounds of the residential care centre ; and
- maintain a distance of at least 1.5 metres from any other person.
If you would like to visit someone in our care at an Amana Living residential care centre you must book your visit using our online booking system, or by calling the administrative assistant at the centre you would like to visit.
When you arrive at the residential care centre yo will required to sign in, have your temperature checked and sign a declaration.
Any visitor who is required to self-isolate must not attend an Amana Living residential care centre until after they have completed their 14 days in isolation and have received a negative COVID test result.
As always, we require proof that you have received a flu vaccination.
Please do not visit if you, any member of your family, or people you have been in close contact with have any flu-like symptoms.
If you cannot visit in person, we can arrange for you to speak to your family member online through our Keep Connected program. Please call the administrative assistant to arrange a call.
