Amana Living’s Day Clubs, Kites program and Shopper Bus Service have now recommenced.
All of our staff have undertaken COVID-19 infection control training, as well as additional cleaning training. Plus, all staff are required to have an up to date flu vaccination. Our vehicles will be cleaned regularly, paying particular attention to high touch areas, and all staff are required to follow the Government’s guidelines regarding physical distancing, hand hygiene, and cough and sneeze etiquette.
Equally, all clients will be required to participate in our COVID-19 screening process before taking part in a Kites or Shopper bus service. This process involves answering the following four questions:
- Have you or anyone you have regular close contact with travelled overseas or interstate in the past 14 days?
- Are you or anyone you have regular close contact with awaiting a test result for COVID-19?
- Have you or anyone you have regular close contact with had a positive result for COVID-19 in the past 14 days?
- Do you or anyone living in your home have the following symptoms – fever, cough, shortness of breath, sore throat or fatigue?
If you answer yes to any of the above questions, you will not be able to take part in the program on that day and will be advised to seek medical attention.
We also ask all clients to wash or sanitize hands upon entry/re-entry to our vehicles. There will be ample hand sanitizer provided by Amana Living to assist with this. Clients should maintain a distance of 1.5 metres from each other and others where possible, avoid physical greetings such as shaking hands, and cover all coughs and sneezes.
*Note that information regarding health and travel restrictions for COVID-19 is changing rapidly as the situation evolves.
