Our People

Amana Living chaplains offer pastoral care to all residents, clients, families and staff.

Pastoral care is a confidential, free service available 24 hours a day, seven days a week from our chaplains and pastoral care practitioners. Pastoral carers are trained to build meaningful relationships based on trust, equality and acceptance, and respond to spiritual, emotional and social needs. Worship services are held in all care centres and most villages. Both pastoral care and worship services are open to all, regardless of religious or spiritual orientation.

CHAPLAIN

Ros began working part-time with Amana Living in January 2021 and regularly visits Lefroy Care Centre and Day Club, Transition Care Bull Creek, Transition Care Mosman Park, Dorothy Genders Village, Riley House, and St George’s Care Centre.

She felt a calling to be a chaplain while working as an ICU nurse, and now, 20 years later, she is an Anglican priest and chaplain. Ros loves the diversity of people she meets in the course of a week, and the richness of their personalities and life stories.

Away from work, Ros loves walking, jogging, gardening, movies, and creative arts. Most of all, she love dogs, especially her own.
