There are a lot of changes happening within aged care to make the sector more focused on the consumer, including the new home care reforms to be introduced on 27 February.

Amana Living’s CEO Stephanie Buckland has written for Inside Ageing about these changes and asks whether the sector is truly on its way to becoming a consumer driven industry.

Stephanie draws on her tourism marketing and retail marketing background to examine how the customer experience could be improved through better understanding of customer needs, embedding the brand into the workplace, and making it easier for people to do business with the organisation.
