Amana Living has won WA aged care's premier award for excellence presented by WA's peak aged care industry body Aged and Community Services of WA (ACSWA).
Amana Living won the organisation Award, which recognises a not for profit aged and community care organisation which is excelling in improving the quality of life of older people in the state. This is the second time Amana Living has been bestowed with this award in the past three years.
In addition, Amana Living's staff member Larissa Madunic was also the winner of the Trainee Award for her commitment to further training and development over her 18 year career working in aged care and volunteer Hilda Stevenson received a special commendation for her voluntary work over the past 11 years with Amana Living.
An additional staff member, Margaret Butchart, was a finalist in the Employee of the Year Award category.
