Amana Living’s Residential Care Centres deliver a diverse range of services and accommodation to over 800 residents in order to support them living their second half of life to the fullest extent possible. Our staff focus on continuously building the satisfaction and positive experiences of our residents.
Amana Living has 5 high care centres, 10 low care centres and 2 dementia specific centres with co-located respite centres.

Dementia Specific Secure centres:
All meals, cleaning and laundry services are provided to people who need support for everyday activities such as showering, personal care, administering medications, and social activities, whilst maintaining residents’ independence and individuality.
Staff are available 24 hours per day. Each centre offers a range or recreational activities in line with our residents’ interests and most centres offer care for residents with dementia.
We also offer ‘Extra Service’ low care accommodation at Peter Arney Home in Salter Point. Extra Service enable residents to enjoy a superior level of comfort and choice through the provision of ‘hotel’ type services and lifestyle extras, including higher standards of accommodation and a extensive range of entertainment and food choices.

91.8% of residents would recommend the service to their family and friends
The overall satisfaction rating for Residential Care was 96% an improvement of 1% on the 1997 results.
