When a person has been diagnosed with dementia it is often a very confusing and emotional time for the person with dementia, their carer/s and family members. Often they do not know what services are needed, how to access these services and where to go next.
Amana Living has recently launched the McCusker Nurse program which has been developed to offer information on what services are available and how to access them, whilst ensuring that there is ongoing support and guidance when required. For more information about the McCusker Nurse please go to the McCusker Nurse information page or contact Karen Malone on (08) 9424 6396 or mccuskernurse@amanaliving.com.au. Please note there is no cost to access this service.
