Five years since its launch, Total Catering Solutions (TCS) has emerged as Western Australia's leading cook chill catering enterprise.
Total Catering Solutions operates from a purpose built facility in Bassendean utilising modern production equipment and the latest technology in computer systems and software packages.
Already producing 7000 meals per day over a five-day week for a diverse range of clients, the company is on the brink of further expansion.
The Managers and Kitchen Brigade are well versed in the principals of Cook Chill with a wealth of international experience from various top class Restaurants, Hotels, Health Care, Education Sector and Function Centres.
Cook Chill, Cook Freeze and Extended life products are produced and supplied to the Aged Care and Health Care sectors along with Function Centres and Restaurants.
TCS currently operate under HACCP guidelines with third party accreditation.
All menu’s have a full 30 element nutritional analysis and random food samples are taken to an independent laboratory for microbiological testing 3 times per week.
A full and comprehensive training program is offered free of charge to all clients and their staff as part of an initial contract setup.
Assistance is given to clients to set up the FoodSafe Program and to carry out confidential food and hygiene audits.
Whilst the aged care sector still remains the company's largest client TCS has successfully diversified into other industries such as the healthcare, mining and hospitality.
TCS have an extensive range of generic products to choose from, and can produce specific dishes using the clients own recipes.
As part of the company’s ongoing development TCS have come up with a new range of extended life products. With a shelf life of up to 30 days this range of products is ideal for a variety of industries including hospitality (restaurants; hotels and function centres) and mining.
In 2001 TCS launched its 'Easy Meals' division, which supplies a range of complete frozen meals to a diverse client base (including meals on wheels organisations; retail outlets; retirement communities; aged care clients and home deliveries) throughout rural and metropiltan Western Australia.
Mid 2002 TCS was awarded the Western Australian distributorship for Prestige Foods International offering 5 Star Stocks and Sauces to the Hospitality sector.
